Our 5th grade students will take the FCAT Science assessment on Tuesday, May 2 and Wednesday, May 3. This is the last assessment that they will be taking as part of the state testing this year. We feel like our students are ready for this test as they have worked very hard, and teachers have planned rigorous but engaging activities for a Science review over the past several weeks.

It is imperative that our students at school on both days. Students who are tardy may not be able to take the assessment with their peers and will take their assessment during a make-up session. Also, please try to avoid any early check outs.

Please make sure that our 5th graders get a proper rest and will eat a nourishing breakfast on the morning of the test. Free breakfast is available to all Okeechobee County School students. Parents, if you have any questions related to this test administration, you may contact us at 863-462-5100.

Thank you for supporting your student during this test administration.
