This event is organized by the Okeechobee Children’s Mental Health System of Care. The family nights will be held on every 4th Tuesday of the month in the Williamson Education Center at IRSC. These events are free, and they cover different subjects related to children’s education, mental and physical health and well being, and feature guest speakers who are experts in their field. A light dinner will be provided for all who attend. Fun activities will be available to children three and older throughout the presentation.

This week’s event focuses on "Difficult Discussions: Conversations You NEED to Have with Your Children." Presented by Raulerson Hospital, this event will teach families the importance of tackling those tough subjects and tips on having such conversations. Prior to the main event, families may enlist the help of KidCare Application Assistant representatives to enroll their children in the Florida KidCare insurance program. Interested families should arrive between 4:00-6:00 pm and provide a pay stub to enroll.
