Book Fair Week
Character trait of the month: Gratitude
We hope that everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday with their families! We are looking forward to our students, teachers, and staff returning on Monday, November 26. We are very excited about our new office layout and new furniture that was assembled over the Thanksgiving break. We hope that the new layout will make everyone feel more welcomed and it will also help us to serve our families more efficiently. 
 
Monday, 11/26
Book Fair starts today!
Families can visit the Book Fair from 7:45-8:10 AM. Students must be accompanied by their parent during that time. During the day, students will have opportunities to visit the Book Fair during their Media rotation, or with a pass from class as approved by their teacher.
Tuesday, 11/27
After school tutoring 3:15 PM
PTO Meeting 4:45 PM in room 146 to discuss the Christmas Parade (time change due to the Tree Lighting Ceremony)
All County Chorus and Tree Lighting Ceremony 5:30 PM
Thursday, 11/29
After school tutoring 3:15 PM
Open House at the Book Fair and Family Read Night 5:00-7:00 PM at our Media Center
Friday, 11/30
College T-Shirt Day
Assessments
Students in grades 2-5 will continue taking standards mastery assessments to demonstrate mastery of Florida Standards after a unit of study. For more information on Florida Standards, please visit http://www.cpalms.org/Public/search/Standard
 
Other School Business
The following programs are available for students to use at home:  iReady - access at https://cainc.i-ready.com/ ?Your child knows his/her username and password. Reflex Math- access at https://www.reflexmath.com/. Your child knows his/her username and password. Another great resource for learning is Khan Academy, available at www.khanacademy.org. It is a free online learning platform that provides additional support and practice opportunities in Math. Students participating in after school tutoring already have their accounts set up. Happy learning!!!
